CALI ZOO
40 years ago we received the Municipal Zoo to rescue it from its agony, today it is a Latin American benchmark that was transformed from a place that was only to see animals into a platform to inspire environmental commitment. The Zoo with its visitors provides us with a large part of the resources to fulfill our mission in the local society.
HACIENDA DEL BOSQUE
Iconic restaurant from the 19th-century architecture. It born to rescue a forgotten place in the old municipal forest, and today it become into a regional gastronomic benchmark. Besides being a setting for social encounters, it helps us to create dozens of jobs, rescues and values local flavors and generates surpluses to invest in our missionary actions.
BOTANICAL GARDEN
Inseparable companion of the Cali River, it born with the vocation of promoting the conservation of the dry forest, an important tropical ecosystem that is almost extinct. The Garden, more than a place to get to know plants, it is a place that allows us to connect with nature, learn from the plant world and promotes values related to good living.
MIDDLE BASIN OF THE CALI RIVER
It supplies water to more than 400,000 people every day, but today it is debating among the typical tensions produced by the encounter of wild ecosystems, agricultural production, livestock and urban growth. In this place we promote social agreements for participative conservation for ecological restoration and valuation as a collective heritage.
BUITRE DE CIÉNAGA ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER
Located in the Sonso lagoon complex, it is the entry point to the only Ramsar wetland in the region and is a world reference as a bird watching hotspot with nearly 200 registered species. From it, we accompany the human amphibian communities that inhabit the territory in their conservation and nature tourism initiatives.
